It’s been more than a year since we got back for our cruise to Mexico. We are now officially part of the rat race, jobs, commute, traffic, etc. The only thing that separates us from the rest, is that we still live on our boats. Indeed it does feel a bit dull, but at the same time it’s nice to know you’ll be in the same place for a while. It’s just nice to be able to plan ahead for ore than 6 months at a time.
But, to spice things up a bit, I’m helping some friends take their boat down the coast. It’s not the same as going cruising, but it’s a nice little reminder. So here I am at SFO with all my sailing gear packed in a duffel bag ready to go. It’s not going to be the same as cruising the South Pacific but it’s still going to be fun on the bun.
