We started our journey from Oahu around 3 PM yesterday, heading SW, then South to get out of the Big Island wind shadow which materialized with a squall today around 11:00 am. I know, doldrums already?
We dodged a couple of warships conducting live fire exercises and a couple of NOAA buoys. Otherwise, there is almost no traffic this side of the island. Right now we are motoring in search of wind which is supposed to peak around the South side of Big Island again. Aloha from Octavia and Petter
